Reviewer: Sammi from New Zealand If you have just started doing poi, YOU NEED THIS!!!
The pictures are so neat and simply to follow. (Although I always wonder why it looks so easy in the book while I struggle to get the moves right..) It works your way through to advance moves so that you wont feel too overwhelmed when you practice.
This is certainly one of the best instruction guides you can ever find, esp when you dont have someone to teach you in person.
It's not a big, heavy book so I take it with me wherever I go to practice my poi.
Not just for beginners.....
Reviewer: Na'la from United States I have been playing with Poi for almost a year now. I just recently purchased this book from HOP and my repertoire of moves has doubled! Very clear instruction, great illustrations, and great tips on trying stuff on your own! Totally worth it!
:-)
Thanks HOP!
Very Pleased
Reviewer: Spring Johnston from United States Although full of beginner's, intermediate, and even difficult moves, this book isn't just for regular poisters. There are sections for other types of poi, fire and sock for example. I am very pleased with the advice and guidance this book shares. It has helped me recognize my bad habits of spinning poi, and given very good advice to fixing them and then solidifying good ones.
Thank you HOP for your speedy shipping and this pleasurable tool! :)
