These are really fun. Even thought they are reccomended for experienced users only, I would say they can still be enjoyed by novices provided you don't try anything too crazy. I got a couple of photos taken the first night I used these and even simple moves look amazing as the LEDs really give off an incredible show when you get into it.

I bought some lighter, softer ones to practice with as well as these, so I don't risk too many bruises from experimenting. I'd reccomend other users consider doing the same.

Definitely worth the investment for any beginners looking to take poi to the next level. HAVE FUN!

I received my light blue LED light sticks yesterday. They are really
bright and I absolutely love the colour. Although they are light I
find I can spin them pretty well. I even learned a new move today.

They are great value for money. I'm really happy and recommend
them to everyone who would like to play around with light but is to
anxious for fire. I also like to take them along since they are easy to
carry around.

Got myself a box of 10, definately worth it.

They're a lot brighter then what I expected them to be, which I think is great.

The only thing is that they're rather light-weight, so I simply replaced the cords with some 4mm diameter ballchain and that worked nicely. :) You may need to be careful with them as well, putting them in a clear tube (about 2mm around the edge) will save them from being broken on impact (plus it'll give it more weight making it easier to spin ^_~) Or, you can use bubble wrap. ;)

They're rather good items. Plus, they work out the same price as glowsticks which you throw out after a while anyway! These on the other hand are re-usable. ;)

A good item, even my friends want some now. =P
