Cheltenham Based Spinners

Hi there just wondering if there are any cheltenham based spinners, I am at home with my folks for a few days and wondered if there was a chance of meeting up with anyone for a spin . . .

not as far as i know but there seams to be quite a few peps around in glos, maybe we could meet up another time.

I'm going to be in and around Gloucestershire from mid june and then for a whil in August- I'm really keen to meet spinners 'back home'

I went to falmouth too . . . did get meet loads of people . . did meet you vixwn, though only briefly, don't know if i spoke to you firestar ? but will certainly see you all at fal 4 !! and PLAY if you are going . .

So are you guys any closer to knowing where and when you might meet? As mentioned earlier I will be around that neck of the woods (ish) for a bit in June and then for most of August at least and it'd be nice to meet up and play.

We meet in Swindon every week for our circus skillz club. its not a fire meet tho. altho we have those at a farm. not sure if thats gona be to far away for you? its just an idea.

as it turned out all the work I had to do there fell through but I will be making random appearances so will keep an eye on this thread. . .

I'm in chelt (UK), but I'm pretty new to all this. I've only mastered about 10 moves but willing for others to share their skills.

YO all you lot get to gloucester on a wednesday theres a weekly spin starting at 8 we have loadas people come get here....

I'm new to this site, looked before but never posted. I've just moved to Cheltenham to study at uni and was wondering if there was any cheltenham based poi/fire groups. Used to do poi and other fire stuff where i come from, and i miss it so much... i have no garden to practice in and feel a little lonely doing it in the park. If theres anyone out there who knows about a poi group or has any other suggestions, please let me know.

Hey Cat, welcome to HOP check Mikes post above, I can only go every other week but if you want a lift over to glos give me a shout.
Shame you didn't post a few days earlier we had a meet on english/welsh border.... good time by all but pissed it down..... could have given a lift from cheltenham and would have met a few people. next time!

lol right guys lol yeah that meet was great basicly theres a wednesday night juggling meet from 4:45 at the guildhall in gloucester till about 6:45. Everyone is welcome and i am running it its £2.50 for unwaged and £3.50 for waged thats just to cover the cost of the hall and so on we have equipment but if u have any bringb your own. We have a high cieling as well.

Also to anyone who does fire i now run a weds night fire spin thats from 8 its free in glos park bring your own gear and fuel and come and spin

Hi Guys theres now a new meet going afta the success of the gloucester meet i am going to run a meet at pitville park The first meet is at the first monday of the half term at 7 in the evening bring toys and feul the night ends when everyone leaves.

IF anyone wants to go from gloucester talk to me and we can arrange transport some how.

IF ENOUGH OF YOU COME WE CAN GET FUNDING AND NEW GEAR!!!!

So come the first money of the half term which is the 23rd october.

hi guys slight problems in glos getting there tonight but we are trying our hardist and its looks very likely at least i will be there now i have no idea were the park is so i might be stumbling around a bit.

Also does anyone have any sock poi they could bring and prehaps lets me use for a bit *Smiles Sweetly*
